Currently, the studio is offering piano, classical guitar, voice and string lessons. We will be registering for other instruments starting on the Fall.

Soprano Lelia Tenreyro-Viana

Lelia Tenreyro-Viana, voice and piano

LELIA TENREYRO-VIANA began her musical career at the age of 7. She has been awarded several prizes and scholarships, including the Lucille Field Goodman Vocal Award (1997 and 1999). Her voice has been heard in operas, musical theater, jazz and choral ensembles, and television commercials. She was selected as a performer/teacher in residence for the “Choral Music Initiative”, a program sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Metropolitan Opera Guild. She is currently the Director of the Music Ministry at Saint Cecilia Church, in Ashland, MA, and a member of the New World Chorale and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.

Massa

Antonio Massa Viana, classical guitar

Guitarist ANTONIO MASSA VIANA attended the Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College in New York, where he was a member of the baroque ensemble Ars Latium and the B.C. Guitar Ensemble. A recipient of an award from the Institute for Studies in American Music (2001), he was a featured guitarist for the Brazilian Consulate in New York, the Brazilian Endowment for the Arts and several other venues. He currently performs for weddings and private functions in the Greater Boston area, and lives in Millis, where he teaches classical guitar and enjoys his wife and three wonderful children. Joseph Scott, classical guitar

JOSEPH SCOTT began playing the folk and rock guitar in his teens, eventually gravitating towards the classical guitar. He graduated with honors from the Boston Conservatory in 1985, has been teaching privately since 1987, and performing in the Boston and Cape region on both guitar and lute. A Suzuki specialist, he also teaches at the Cape Cod Conservatory, The Joy of Music Program, Worcester State University, and at the South Shore Conservatory. Mr. Scott resides in Milford, MA, with his wife Jenny, and son, Joseph, also holds a degree in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is an experienced choral singer.
