Private Lessons

The best way to learn an instrument is through private music lessons, regardless of whether the student is a beginner or advanced. The individual attention and support of a teacher is both motivating and essential for proper instrument learning. Lessons are offered in a 30, 45 or 60-minute format.

Although every student is different, young children usually benefits from 30-minute sessions. Adults and more advanced students should do a minimum of 45 minutes. Students register on a monthly basis. Registration is open year-round.

MMS currently offers guitar, piano and voice lessons.

Evaluations

Students enrolled in private lessons (optional for adults) are required to do an evaluation session every end of the semester. The evaluation helps students set and achieve goals, develop performance skills and provides the parents with a written report on the student’s development.

Learn a language!

Our instructors are bilingual. Students in language immersion programs may opt to have their lessons taught in either Portuguese or Spanish.
